Blane McElroy

Director of Marketing & Communications

Currently committed to the admissions process for soccer at Princeton University, Blane McElroy continually seeks ways to give back to the local and global community. Inspired by her parents’ evolution from a modest upbringing in rural Indiana to careers in major financial centers of Chicago, New York and Charlotte, Blane knows that empowerment comes from opportunity and deliberately seeks out organizations with aligned values to impact underserved groups. As an advocate of inclusion, Blane currently serves organizations like International House and Torus, promoting international understanding and helping immigrants integrate into the local community. Partnering with Peace Passers Inc. she co-founded a bi-annual uniform drive to provide 274 uniforms to soccer teams lacking access to proper gear in Charlotte and Uganda.

Blane has also generated $24,560 in funding to benefit Soccer Foundation of Charlotte – raising $13,560 co-founding and co-directing an annual fundraising camp and directing $11,000 in state and national grants earned – to provide local underserved youth with access to soccer and literacy programing.  Blane served as Communications Chair for the Microfinance Club at Providence Day to empower entrepreneurs lacking access to traditional banking with more than 50 loans issued – now transitioning to expand her influence as Vice President of Impact Collective.
